Aievalu vs Murf AI: a full studio or a generator at a fair price
Prices checked on 12 October 2026, excluding promotions, subject to change. Murf AI is a trademark of its owner; Aievalu is not affiliated with it.
Murf AI sells a studio: voices in more than twenty languages, a timeline to align narration with a video, background music, pauses tuned to the tenth of a second. Aievalu sells a generator: one text, one voice, one MP3, billed per character. They answer different needs, and this page puts them side by side on what can be measured, the price of a minute of voice-over (about 1,000 characters; method explained in our price comparison), rights and limits. Prices are the public ones on the same date.

Where Murf AI wins
The studio, first. Murf lets you sync a voice to an imported video, add background music, split a script into blocks and adjust speed or emphasis word by word. For a corporate video or a training module edited inside the tool, that comfort matters. Languages, next: more than twenty, where Aievalu stops at English and French. Voice cloning is available on the upper plans, and an API exists for teams that want to automate. If your job is to produce complete videos in a single tool, or to speak Spanish and German as well as English, Murf is the right choice.
Where Aievalu wins
Price, and how readable it is. At Murf, the Creator plan gives 24 hours of generation per year for $29 a month billed monthly, about $0.24 per minute, or $0.16 on an annual commitment. At Aievalu, the 100,000-character pack costs €9 and works out to about €0.09 per minute, with no commitment, valid for twelve months; the Starter subscription drops below €0.09. At comparable quality in English and French, since Aievalu's voices are the presets of Voxtral, Mistral AI's model, a creator who does not need a studio pays two to three times less. Access is also more direct: the trial needs no account, just two sentences, and commercial use is included from the first euro (see the answer on usage rights).
Let's be clear: Aievalu does one thing. Four voices, three tones each, 1,500 characters per generation, an MP3 or WAV to drop into your editing software. Listen to the voices on the voices page, each reading the same text, which is the only honest way to compare.
A worked example
A trainer records two hours of narration per quarter for course modules, about 120,000 characters every three months. At Murf, Creator billed annually ($19 a month, 24 hours a year) is more than enough and costs $228 a year, studio included. At Aievalu, the 300,000-character pack at €24.99 covers more than six months; two packs a year come to €50, provided you assemble the narration in PowerPoint, Articulate or DaVinci rather than inside the tool. The annual gap is about $180: that is the price of the built-in studio. The e-learning voice-over guide details the workflow without a studio.
Who should pick which
Pick Murf if you edit your videos inside the tool, need more than two languages, want to clone a voice or plug in an API, and accept a subscription. Pick Aievalu if you produce in English or French, already use editing software, publish at an irregular pace and want a low price with no commitment. The overview of the best AI voice tools places both among eight others, and the Aievalu vs ElevenLabs head-to-head covers the market leader.
Try before you choose
The same 150-character script on both, listened to with headphones, settles it in ten minutes. Murf's free trial gives ten minutes of generation without download; Aievalu's gives two sentences a day without an account. For a real test, the €9 pack commits you to nothing else. The full pricing and the free AI voice page round out this comparison.
Questions we get asked
Can I get Murf's studio elsewhere? A free editor such as DaVinci Resolve handles syncing and music; Aievalu provides the voice. More clicks, but no subscription. Are unused Murf minutes lost? The quota is annual, which is more flexible than a monthly one; at Aievalu the pack lasts twelve months and the subscription resets every month. What about a very expressive voice? Both offer styles; Aievalu is limited to three tones per voice, enough for narration, not for a cartoon. How are characters counted? Spaces included, charged only when the audio is produced, see the FAQ.
