Terms of Use
Version 2026-10-11
This is an English translation provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the AiValue service (the "Service"), published by MARCANT SAS, which generates synthetic-voice audio files from text supplied by the user. Using the Service constitutes acceptance of these terms.
2. Account
The trial without an account is limited to 160 characters and 1 generation per 24 hours. Creating an account (e-mail address or Google account) is required to download audio files and buy credits. The user is responsible for keeping their access confidential. The Service is reserved for adults.
3. Prohibited uses
It is prohibited to use the Service to:
- impersonate a person or imitate their voice without their express consent;
- produce content that is illegal, hateful, defamatory, harassing, sexual in nature involving minors, or that incites violence;
- spread disinformation, scams, or content misleadingly presented as authentic;
- circumvent the technical limits of the Service (quotas, free trial) or resell access to the Service itself;
- any use contrary to the law or to the terms of use of the speech-synthesis engine provider.
4. Audio usage rights
Commercial use is permitted for audio generated with credits from a paid pack (including the €9 pack) or a paid subscription, subject to compliance with these terms. This right continues for that audio after the credits expire or the subscription ends. Free-trial audio and audio generated with any free credits are for personal, non-commercial use only. Rights already granted for audio generated before acceptance of this version remain unchanged.
The user grants MARCANT SAS a limited licence to host and process the files for the duration of their retention. The user warrants that they hold the rights to the texts they submit.
5. Synthetic content and informing the public
The audio files are content generated by artificial intelligence and carry a technical marking in their metadata. The user undertakes to inform their audience of the synthetic nature of the content where regulations require it, in particular where content could be taken as authentic or concerns matters of public interest (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, art. 50).
6. Data retention
Submitted texts are not retained (a technical fingerprint is). Audio files are kept for 90 days in the history, then deleted. Trial audio files generated without an account are deleted within 24 hours.
7. Suspension and termination
MARCANT SAS may suspend or close an account in the event of a breach of these terms, after notice except in urgent cases. The user may delete their account at any time from the Account area.
8. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". MARCANT SAS does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the suitability of an audio file for a particular purpose. Its liability is limited to the amount paid by the user over the last twelve months. The user is solely responsible for the use they make of the generated audio files.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the registered office of MARCANT SAS, subject to consumer-protection rules.
